SUS x MQGPS Bus Museum Event

Apr 22, 2025

Looking to meet new people? Or want to find something fun to do during mid-sem break?

Join the Student Urbanism Society (SUS) and Macquarie University's Geography and Planning Society on the 22nd of April on an exclusive tour of the Sydney Bus Museum as we explore the vehicles that connect us to the past, present and future of public transportation.

Explore the museum's captivating exhibits and wander amongst the historic buses without the crowds you would experience when the Museum is open to the public.

KEY DETAILS:

  • The tour starts at 12 pm, however, you have the option to meet execs and volunteers at the Metro Concourse above Platforms 26 and 27 at Central Station at 11 am to make the trip to the Museum together.

  • The event will end at 2 pm.

  • A discounted concession admission fee of $16.50 applies - payment is done through USU when you register to attend the event - no booking fees or surcharges will be incurred!

  • If you're making your own way to the museum, please see trip planner apps for travel directions by bus and light rail. Please note there is no parking on site, however parking is available at the carpark on the corner of William and Derbyshire Streets.
